Truly Blessed!!

Summertime
Wow, what a summer...over 25 days of over 100 degree weather. Not much rain to speak of, fires in Colorado, Stapleton, and Wyoming and now northern Nebrarska! The good news is Irv got the underground sprinklers in...and I finally finished my talk for the Women's Walk to Emmaus this weekend in Chadron. Picnics with family are always a

Happy Independence Day! 7/5/2010
We had a terrific 4th of July weekend and we hope you did too. The Hiatt Family Renunion in Benkelman Nebraska was a huge success despite the heat and the bugs! There was a total of 115 people who attended throughout the 5 days and Uncle Ron & Aunt Rita's "Carefully Hidden Paradise" was the most amazing camping place ever! There was a 50th Anniversary Party for Aunt Virginia and Uncle Bill Mapes at the A/C Eagles Nest on Saturday with cake and a big screen for viewing family pictures. We had a talent show and auction and ATV rides. We went swimming, paddle boating, floating and some even dared to try the slide! Looking forward to the next one in two years!!
Grandkids are the best blessings of life...

To My Husband
My Love,
It’s never easy to put words down that will fully express how I feel about you. When I think about what my life might have been like had we not decided to spend our lives together…I shutter. You brought unconditional love into my life. You loved me even when at times I made it almost impossible. Thank you for always protecting my heart. For putting me second only to God. Thank you for being such a wonderful father to our children and for always providing for our family.
As I grow in my faith and you in yours, I can’t wait to learn what God has in store for our relationship and how he will use us together to grow His Kingdom.
God sent to me an amazing gift 31 years ago. You are my soul-mate. My best friend!
I promise to always seek God’s will for my role as your wife and your helper. I know that I will mess up sometimes- and I know that you will forgive me because that is who you are.
