Happieness by Sara Avant Stover

"To me, happiness is being with what is--without
running from it or clinging to it. It's about having
the wisdom and openness of heart to give yourself
to, and to surrender into, each moment. That includes
moments that are euphoric, moments that are boring,
moments that are confusing, and moments that are
heartbreaking--and everything in between!

Yes, smiles are beautiful and laughter and states of glee
feel nice--but to me happiness is much deeper than these
things. Sometimes happiness does express itself in those ways,
but it's much richer and fuller and truer than being in a really
good mood.

To be truly happy you need to be willing to go into
the darkness in order to find the light."
